A family-friendly beach escape

The hotel was immaculate, making our stay enjoyable. The pool was warm and inviting. we loved the friendly atmosphere among guests. Plus, the beach was just a short stroll away!

Unfortunately, we encountered noise issues during the night from nearby guests, which disrupted our kids' sleep. The bathroom was also a tight fit for our family of five.

The family suite was super clean and had a kitchenette with a microwave, full-size fridge, and all the kitchenware you need. The room had a dining table, two TVs, and a comfortable sofa bed. The pool area was nice, with a shallow section and a diving board. A rinse-off area after the beach, just a short stroll away.

i was almost going to give this place a good review, but then i remembered that the air conditioner was totally ineffective. plus, the facilities were just too dated. you’d think a resort catered to families would offer some coffee packages in the room, but alas, i was sorely mistaken. feel so underappreciated here.

This place was a commendable fit for a brief retreat in Wildwood Crest with real value for money. The cleaning staff were super friendly and provided fresh towels every morning, which added a nice touch. Bring your own coffee supplies as they don’t provide coffee packs in the room.

The Family Suite comfortably accommodates larger groups, featuring a kitchenette equipped with a full-size fridge, microwave, and a selection of dishes and utensils. The pristine pool is inviting, boasting a diving board and spacious lounging area, making it a great spot for relaxation after a day at the beach, just a block away.

Parking can be a challenge. Expect tight spaces that fill up quickly during peak times. The interior definitely shows its age, with some dated furnishings and smaller room sizes that might not meet everyone’s expectations, especially for a family trying to fit in all their gear. Noise from nearby guests can disrupt sleep, particularly noticeable with parties next door.

Family with children well enjoyed

Our family stayed in a sweet suite that was super clean. The biggest surprise was the warm pool and diving board, my kids loved it! They also had a mini golf course which was a big hit during our stay. The staff was so friendly and even helped us out when we needed an extra towel.

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but you know what? It felt worth it.

We really enjoyed the clean and spacious Family Suite with all the kitchenware. It felt like home when we relaxed on the outdoor chairs while watching the little ones play in the pool.

I had an absolute delight staying at Compass Family Resort! The family suite was super clean and included a kitchenette that was ready for use with pots, pans, and all the kitchenware needed. I appreciated the separate living area with a pull-out couch, making the space feel cozy. The pool area was great, too, featuring a diving board, and it felt refreshing to unwind there after a day at the beach, which was only about a block away. We even had our own table and chairs right outside the suite, making it perfect for relaxing in the evenings. The staff was welcoming and ensured we had fresh towels each day, which truly enhanced our experience.
